Organization-Building Masterclass for Business Leaders

Tokyo, November 25, 2025 — The Overseas Myanmar Professionals and Entrepreneurs Association (OMPEA), a social and community-focused organization, hosted a special seminar for business owners, managers, and leaders. The event took place on November 24, 2025, from 13:30 to 15:00 at TKP Garden City Shibuya, Conference Room D, Tokyo, Japan. The seminar aimed to strengthen collaboration and mutual understanding between the Myanmar and Japanese communities.

The session featured a keynote lecture by Mr. Ken Matsumura, a management expert with extensive international experience, including in Myanmar. His presentation covered key topics such as:

• How to build a sustainable and growing organization
• Designing effective organizational systems
• Fundamental principles of management with nearly 40 years of global management experience, Mr. Matsumura shared practical insights, real-world examples, and professional guidance with all participants.

OMPEA President U Kyi Thu Shein delivered an opening address, emphasizing that OMPEA is not a politically motivated organization but a social association dedicated to supporting and uplifting the Myanmar community abroad. He explained that the association serves as a bridge between the Myanmar and Japanese communities, promoting knowledge-sharing and cultural understanding. OMPEA strives to create opportunities for Myanmar individuals to learn, advance professionally, and build networks that lead to greater employment and business prospects. By empowering Myanmar nationals to grow and support one another, the association seeks to enhance the positive image and presence of Myanmar people in the global community. He also highlighted that this seminar was the first of its kind organized by OMPEA and that the association plans to hold larger and more diverse seminars in the future.

Approximately 30 participants, including OMPEA executive members and pre-registered attendees, attended the seminar.
